At the present time there are two means of admission to doctoral studies and the preparation of the doctoral thesis.
The traditional means of admission continues to be regulated by Royal Decree 778/98, requiring university graduates to complete 32 credits during a period of two academic years.
The new means of entry adapted to European convergence implies study a doctoral program that includes a period of academic training that in general corresponds with one or different official master, and a period of organised research, that ends with the preparation of the doctoral thesis. |
