PROGRAMA (3.78 MB)

The Grup d'Estudis de Dones i Gènere a l'Antiguitat Tàcita Muta and the Research Group in Gender, Identity and Diversity (GENI) organize the VIII Autumn International Tàcita Muta Conference Within Walls. Forms of Reclusion and Vulnerability from a Gender Perspective. Historical and Interdisciplinary Perspectives. The congress will focus on the analysis of different forms of feminine reclusion from an interdisciplinary perspective. Researchers will reflect on the vulnerability of women and of migrants deprived of their freedom. They will also discuss several historical cases that show that in certain contexts, reclusion has paradoxically played a liberating role for women.
The activity is free and open to all.
