Ana Garrido González, researcher at the Grupo de Investigación sobre género, identidad y discurso en España y América Latina and lecturer at the Uniwersytet Warszawski, will give the seminar "Cartografías migrantes: Xohana Torres e Eva Veiga". She will address the ways in which emigration, understood as a trauma, a challenge and saudade (mourning), affect women. Activity coorganized by ADHUC, Estudis Gallecs i Portuguesos (UB) and the Mínor de Gallec (UAB) as part of the cycle of conferences "No només Rosalía de Castro". This activity is part of the project Female Defectors and Modern Pariahs (FEM2017-83974-P MINECO / FEDER, UE). Free attendance. Language of the seminar: Galician.
