The Seminari Filosofia i Gènere, as part of the Consolidated Research Group (GRC) Creació i Pensament de les Dones, is organizing the thesis workshop for Adina Mocanu, a research fellow at the Centre Dona i Literatura. Her dissertation, entitled "Cuerpos dóciles. Una lectura desde la infancia y la enfermedad" and supervised by the researchers at the Centre Dona i Literatura, Helena González Fernández (Universitat de Barcelona) and Isabel Clúa Ginés (Universitat de València), analyzes the social construction and representation of the body in Romanian narratives written by women, based on two focal points: childhood and illness. The thesis workshop, directed by Rosa Rius Gatell and coordinated by Georgina Rabassó, is an innovative teaching experience which consists in sharing the research trajectory during the doctoral dissertation phase.
