The second seminar on stagnant waters, organized by the Water Research Institute is following the path of the first seminar. Several speakers have been convened which will deal on several aspects of stagnant waters, but mainly on management: reclaimed water reservoirs, dams for water supply, small basins for aquifer recharge and advanced wastewater treatment technologies in riverine systems. The relationship among water and energy in reversible hydroelectric power stations in terms of economy is another subject as well as a vision from the law on several stagnant water facilities and dams decommissioning are.
