The 10 research credits are obtained by writing a paper.
The research work will be tutored by one of the teachers and graded by at least two co-examiners, who will be appointed by the coordinator in agreement with the teacher who has tutored the research.
The student is required to defend the research in a meeting with the examiners. The meeting is nominally open to the public (as per university regulations).
The tutor of the research work need not be (and often will not be) the PhD-supervisor assigned to the student if he/she is admitted to the PhD period.
