TSPDMACI and GEOINNO-GREEN projects awarded by the Spanish Ministry

    The Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness awards the TSPDMACI project, leaded by Josep Lluís Carrion-i-Silvestre, and the GEOINNO-GREEN project, leaded by Rosina Moreno, AQR members.

    The “Time Series and panel data analysis of macroeconomics imbalances (TSPDMACI)” project, ECO2017-83255-C3-1-P, leaded by Josep Lluís Carrion-i-Silvestre, is financed by the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness during three years (2018-2020), under the National Programme for Fostering Excellence in Scientific and Technical Research, State Subprogram of Knowledge Generation (National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation).

    The project focuses on the development of econometric techniques for non-stationary time series and panel data analysis that account for the presence of structural breaks and cross-section dependence. AQR members in the project team are Josep Lluís Carrion-i-Silvestre (PI) and Òscar Villar. María Dolores Gadea Rivas (University of Zaragoza), ukpa Kim (Korea University), Anindya Banerjee (Birgmingham University) complete the team.

    On the other hand, the main objective of the “Innovation and locational factors: Diversification, Knowledge and environmental revolution (GEOINNO-GREEN)” project,  ECO2017-86976-R, leaded by Rosina Moreno (AQR) and Davide Consoli  (CSIC-INGENIO) is to generate and analyze new empirical evidence on the role of diversity, relatedness and locational factors in the generation of new knowledge and innovation in Spanish firms and regions that pursue green innovation.

    The project is financed by the Spanish the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness during three years (2018-2020), under the 2017 National Programme for Research Aimed at the Challenges of Society  (National Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016). AQR members in the project team are Rosina Moreno (PI 1) and Esther Vayá. Davide Consoli (PI 2) (CSIC-INGENIO), Lorena D'Agostino (University of Trento) and Ernest Migélez Sánchez (CNRS University of Bourdeaux) complete the team.
