Objective The objective is to analyze the economic impact of Public Universities in Catalonia and their associated centers, considering in any case the effects that would not occur if the universities do not exist. Analyze the differential characteristics that justify the differentiated budgetary situation of the City Council of Barcelona with respect to other Catalan and Spanish municipalities. The ultimate goal of the study is to find out if this differential situation is due to the socio-economic characteristics of the city of Barcelona, and / or to what extent this "differential effect" can be influenced by the "management model" of the city of Barcelona in relation to other Catalan and Spanish municipalities. "Contribute to the establishment of the methodological bases of an evaluation plan for active employment policies that, taking as a starting point the current model, makes it possible to address the aforementioned challenges. "The objective is to analyze the economic impact of Public Universities in Catalonia and their associated centers, considering in any case the effects that would not occur if the universities do not exist.
Methodology The study will be carried out based on the usual methodology of these studies, in which the final objective is to quantify the direct, indirect and induced effect on the invoicing, VAB, Occupied population and tax collection.
