Impact analysis of the crisis caused by COVID-19 on the municipalities of the Province of Barcelona
To know the scope of the impacts on the economic activity, the productive fabric and the labor market of the COVID-19, at territorial level closer to the citizen, and to design policies more adjusted to the most specific cases.
A first block of activities consists of designing and obtaining results of the impact that the current health crisis is having on the Province of Barcelona. A methodology is designed that estimates the impact on GDP and the employed population, derived from the reduction in activity that has occurred in the province.
A second block of activities has been destined to territorialize and sectoralize this effect by counties, urban systems and municipalities with more than 75,000 inhabitants, and for 13 sectors of the economy.
