Objective
Identification of local labor markets in Catalonia where the excessive business specialization and/or sectoral concentration can become a risk element due to a decrease of activity in a particular sector or company closure.
Methodology
It is structured in different phases: 1. Definition of local labor markets. 2. Analysis of the business concentration degree and sectoral specialization of the different local labor markets. 3. Identification of sectors - directly and indirectly- that may suffer more an outsourcing process (application of input-output methodology). 4. Construction of the Business Outsourcing Risks Indicator (IRDE). 5. Preparation of files for each defined local markets.
