Objective
To provide an estimation of the Output Gap in the Catalan economy. To know the cyclical position of the Catalan economy and to understand better the situation of the inflationary pressures and labour market, and therefore the potential growth opportunities for the Catalan economy in the medium / long term.
Methodology
To estimate the total factor productivity for the Catalan economy according to AMECO methodology (Annual Macro-economic database of the European Commission's). To estimate the NAWRU (Non-Accelerating Wage Rate of Unemployment) for the Catalan economy according to the CE methodology. To estimate the potential component of the PTF for the Catalan economy according to the CE methodology. To get the potential product according to the EC methodology. Projecting the OG until the 2020.
