Objective
Analyzing the contribution of Health Service (public and private) to the Catalan economy in order to know which is its contribution to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment in Catalonia. Comparing the results obtained for Catalonia with the contribution of health sector tin Spain and, if it’s possible, to the European Union
Methodology
It is based on three phases: Review and selection of statistical information of interest. Analysis of the contribution of Health Service to the Catalan economy. Analysis of intersectoral-links of Health Service Sector in Catalonia.
