ACCESS QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants will require one of the following qualifications:
- A first-cycle degree (Bachelor's degree) leading to Biomedicine (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Odontology and Veterinary Science). These students go straight to the second year and must take 60 credits to be awarded the Master's degree in Biomedicine, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or their academic advisor and the academic program regulations.
- A first-cycle degree (Bachelor's degree) in Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences or Engineering. These students must take 5 credits in train-up course units in addition to the 60 credits of the second year to be awarded the Master's degree in Biomedicine, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or their academic advisor and the academic program regulations.
- A first-cycle degree (Bachelor's degree) not described in the two categories above. These students must take 90 credits (2 years) to be awarded the Master's degree in Biomedicine. During the first year, students will take 30 credits of the Foundation Module (in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or their academic advisor). When students successfully complete the 30 credits of the first year, they will take the 60 credits of the second year, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or their academic advisor and the academic program regulations.
- A first-cycle degree (Bachelor's degree) awarded by a university outside Spain and equivalent to the degrees described in one of the three categories above.
The Coordination Committee will be responsible for addressing any problems related to student admission in the program.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The Coordination Committee shall consider the applicant's academic record duly describing grades awarded. Other criteria, such as the applicant's acceptance by a research group to undertake doctoral studies or his/her collaboration with a biomedical institution will also be considered. Knowledge of English is a basic requirement for all applicants.
