| COURSE UNITS |

Students must successfully complete 90 credits in two academic years or 60 credits in one academic year in order to be awarded the Master's degree. As described in the table above, the program of study shall vary according to students' degree qualifications
60 credits (*). Degree holders in the field of Biomedicine (Biology,
Biochemistry, Biotechnology,
Pharmacy, Medicine,
Odontology and Veterinary
Science) must successfully complete 60 credits (2nd year) distributed as follows:
- 30 credits from the teaching blocks 0, 1, 2, 3 & 4, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or the student's academic advisor and the academic program regulations (see below)
- 30 credits from the teaching block Experimental Project
(*) Students with first-cycle science degrees in chemical or physical sciences or Engineering must successfully complete 5 credits in train-up course units in addition to the 60 credits of the second year to be awarded the Master's degree, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or the student's academic advisor and the academic program regulations.
90 credits.Degree holders in other fields must successfully complete 90 credits (2 years) to be awarded the Master's degree. During the first year, students shall take 30 credits of the Foundation Module (in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or the student's academic advisor). When students successfully complete the 30 credits of the first year, they may take the 60 credits of the second year, in accordance with the instructions of the Coordination Committee or their academic advisor.
