The Master's program is taught on campus and forms part of the postgraduate studies program in biotechnology.

Course length:
One year full-time/two years part-time .
Course dates: October to September.
The program is modular in design. Two modules are common:

Biotechnology of groundwaters. Bioremediation
Classes taught in: Lecture theatres in the UB Faculties of Biology, Pharmacy and Chemistry (South Pedralbes Campus). Laboratory sessions in the departments or in biotechnology companies (depending on availability).
Course teaching schedule: 17:00 to 20:00
Students have the possibility of taking a total of 60 credits that can be chosen from all the subjects offered in order to gain admission to a doctoral studies program. Twenty of these credits can be obtained by completing a research project. .
