Research interests:
Photosynthesis and productivity of Mediterranean forest species under stressing conditions (fire, drought, elevated CO2 ).

Current research projects:
Application of NIRS (Near-Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy) as ecophysiological tool for oxidative- stress detection in Quercus ilex L. (CGL2005-03998), MCyT/FEDER (Project coordinator) (2005-2008).

Collaborator in the programm “Mediterranean ecosystems in a changing world” Groupement de Recherches Europeen (GDRE) since 2001.
