Field of Research: Adaptations of Mediterranean plants to water stress-oxidative stress and their hormonal regulation.



Research interests:
Water stress is one of the more limiting factors for survey of plants in Mediterranean zone; so, the knowledge of resistance mechanisms to water deficit and their hormonal regulation, specially the role of ABA in the signal transduction pathway, as well as the accumulation of H2O2 and ROS, are really very important.
Key words: Water stress-oxidative stress, Hormones, ROS, Liquid Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS); Transmission Electron Microscopy (MET).
