For the last 3 years our group has participated in outreach activities to celebrate Science Week. This past 15^th of November different members of the group went to Claret School in Valls and prepared some activities to 14 to 16-years-old students. We focused on the process of drug discovery and highlighted the importance of various sciences for finding new medicines. Besides, we also performed several experiments such as extracting DNA from strawberries, making cultures with the microorganisms in our hands and even doing capsules using sugar as excipient and black peper as the active substance. Finally, we also wanted to give them an insight of our scientific life and some examples of our day to day work, so we explained some of the projects that we are carrying out in the lab.
