Last week we welcomed into the group Gonzalo, a master’s student from the University of the Republic, Uruguay, who will be staying in the lab for a month, working on his thesis project. Gonzalo is doing his master’s in biotechnology and he is working in Biocatalysis and Computational Biophysics group, working with enzymes that catalyze reactions to obtain chiral amines.
