Corentin Bouvier

I am a French PhD student in organic chemistry and biology co-supervised by Manuel Rodriguez (UbiCARE) and Cédric-Olivier Turrin (Laboratoire de Chimie de Coordination, Toulouse). My project aims at developing new therapeutic approaches of Mantle Cell Lymphoma relying on multivalent molecular platforms that target proteaphagy and autophagy.

I am joining Barril Lab as a visiting PhD student to carry out the research project entitled "Targeting the proeaphagy receptor p62 with structure-based drug discovery approaches" in the framework of the Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) of ProteoCure COST Action CA20113. I will perform molecular modeling studies of already synthesized p62 ZZ inhibitors, and design more potent inhibitors.

I hold a Master's degree in Molecular Chemistry from the University of Rennes, and a Master's degree in Chemistry and Living Technologies from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes. My previous experience in medicinal chemistry led me to work with Sanofi and Yale University.
