El pasado 15 de enero de 2020 (no hace tanto y sin embargo todo parece tan lejano…) se publicó un nuevo informe sobre alfabetización informacional titulado Information literacy in the age of algorithms: student experiences with news and information, and the need for change. Este nuevo informe fue respaldado por la Knight Foundation, la Harvard Graduate School of Education, el ER&L (Electronic Resources & Libraries, un importante congreso sobre bibliotecas) y la School of Library and Information Science de la University of South Carolina.
