Thematic Network Clinical applications of cognitive event-related potentials

Our research group coordinates a established thematic network, funded by the Catalan Goverment (2001XT-00036; 2003XT-00084), which purpose is to transfer basic knowledge on brain function, gathered by the ERP methodology, into clinical research an applications. The network includes, in addition to our group, five research institutions (three in Spain, one in Finland, one in Japan), six clinical deparments from hospitals of the public health system in Catalonia, and one private company involved in neurocognitive diagnostic and treatment.

Activities within the network include: bilateral/multilateral cooperative research, exchange of researchers, information and ERP tools, organization of seminars and periodic workshops, organization of teaching activities, such as the “Practicum” for Psychology students in their last year of their degree.
