What is the Campus

Torribera Campus, promoted by the University of Barcelona, is constituted as a result of the agreement between Diputació de Barcelona, Santa Coloma de Gramenet's City Council and university itself so as to locate in Torribera site, at the foot of Serralada de Marina's Natural Park, a university campus entirely devoted to food and nutrition sciences on the education field, offering EHEA bachelor's and master's degree courses, with a research dimension coordinated by the UB's Nutrition and Food Safety Research Institute (INSA) and including transfer and communication activities towards all productive sectors and society in general.

University of Barcelona set this campus as a coordination environment between other actors involved in the food sector in a broad sense, and among which is found the University School of Hotel Management and Tourism (CETT). Torribera expands its frontiers through strategic partnerships duly established and aimed to endorse Catalonia's potential in this field. Because of its nutrition and health dimensions, along with the connection to the Faculty of Pharmacy in the teaching side, Torribera Campus has joined the project of International Excellence Campuses HUBc and BKC.
