HEC Montréal and the University of Barcelona launched in 2009 this joint summer programme where participants have the opportunity to compare creative approaches and practices from diverse fields ranging from industry and arts to science. Montreal and Barcelona are two of the most creative cities in the world, rich in culture and sharing numerous traits.
During ten years we have developed an intensive two-week programme that analyses the creative process and its management from a multi-disciplinary, intercultural, international and intergenerational perspective. Participants, who come from academia, industry and the public sector, are able to reflect and integrate the practices of these diverse spheres.
In summer 2019 the 11th Edition of the Summer School will take place. In this edition, participants will have the opportunity to spend seven days in Montreal, four days in Toronto and five days in Barcelona.
As in past editions, participants are going to have the opportunity to create an international network of managers motivated and dedicated to managing creativity and unleashing the creative potential of their organizations.
This summer school program is internationally renowned for its unique approach to managing creativity and innovation. A distinctive experience and a new brand of collective learning await you.
UB Entrepreneurship Chair has leaded the Barcelona week of the summer School during ten years. Since 2019 the Barcelona Week is managed by the UB Business School under the coordination of prof. Montserrat Pareja-Eastaway of our Faculty of Economics and Business.
