On Thursday, 30 November 2017, the theatre critic Aleks Sierz, author of In-yer-face Theatre: British Drama Today and Rewriting the Nation: British Theatre Today and creator of the website “New Writing for the British Stage” (http://www.sierz.co.uk/) will give a lecture entitled “Whose Country? A Work in Progress: Reflections on Theatre, National Identity and Brexit”.
Sierz’s lecture will be followed by the launch of the book Of Precariousness: Vulnerabilities, Responsibilities, Communities in 21st-century British Drama and Theatre, edited by Mireia Aragay and Martin Middeke (De Gruyer, 2017).
The event will take place from 10:00 to 12:00 in Sala de Professorat, Facultat de Filologia, Universitat de Barcelona (Aulari Josep Carner, c/ Aribau, 2).
