The First and Second Augsburg-Barcelona Seminars on “Representations of the Precarious in Contemporary British Theatre” were held at the Universities of Augsburg (7-11 April 2014) and Barcelona (15-19 September 2014) respectively. The seminars are part of a joint research project funded by the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD; Projekt-ID 57049392). Participants in the seminars included Martin Middeke and Mireia Aragay (Principal Investigators), and Christian Attinger, Bettina Auerswald, Elzbieta Baraniecka, Cristina Delgado-García, Clara Escoda, Eva Gil, Anja Haslinger, Christoph Henke, David Kerler, Elisabeth Massana, Enric Monforte, José Ramón Prado, Martin Riedelsheimer, Verónica Rodríguez, Adina Sorian and Marta Tirado from the Universities of Augsburg, Barcelona, Jaume I (Castelló de la Plana, Spain), Manchester Metropolitan and Seville.
