Admission

A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy or Linguistics is necessary in order to be admitted in the PhD program or master. Occasionally, graduates in other topics are admitted.

Those interested in applying for admission must contact with one of the tutors (preferable, the one from the preferred research topic or the one from the  originating university)

The master's commission approves or refuses the admission to the studies of the master and the PhD program. When necessary, a personal interview will be required.

The number of all the students enrolled in 2007-2008 is 60.

Evaluation

Admission of PhD project

The PhD projects are evaluated by a PhD committee. The committees are appointed by each department or institute involved in the PhD program. The committee informs about the PhD projects to the departments that are the last responsible of the decision (this procedure is carried out in the four involved universities).

Dissertation development method

Research projects will be developed by the PhD students with adequate supervision and following the specific methodology of each Cognitive Science subdiscipline that comprise the PhD program (linguistics, cognitive psychology and philosophy).
