Luciana F. M. Mendonça

Luciana F. M. Mendonça is a professor of Sociology and Sociology of Music at the Department of Sociology and at the Postgraduate Program in Music, Federal University of Pernambuco (Universidade Federal de Pernambuco – UFPE, Brazil). Her research interests cover music scenes, public policies, globalization and ethnicity. Author of “The local and the global in popular music.
