Estades de curta durada a l'Escola de Doctors de la Universitat de Montpeller
The doctoral schools of Montpellier are gathered in a Doctoral College, called "Maison des Ecoles doctorales", la MED. MED organises every year a full week seminar for PhD students devoted to transferable skills and more precisely to prepare PhD students to enter professional life outside the traditional job opportunities in research and teaching. The students are gathered in pluri-disciplinary teams of 8 students (from biologists to lawyers) working together on a virtual project. This seminar is called: "Doctoriales".
Specifically, this year, the students will be trained in the perspective of starting up an innovative project and, possibly a firm, in connexion with the "start-up nurseries" of the Region Languedoc.
We have decided to offer up to five (5) places to PhD students coming from the Coimbra Group Universities.
The seminar will take place during the week #14 (from 30th of March to th 5th of April)
The seminar is located in a residence in Meze, along the laguna of Thau, close to the Mediterranean sea. The students costs (Accommodations, meals and transport) are covered during the full week.
The requirements are:
- Fluency in English and passive understanding of French.
- The fees are: 150 € asked from the Doctoral school (or the University) of the student and 30 € explicitly coming from the student's pocket.
- a CV, showing a special interest in possibility of finding a job outside Academia ( with an Identity Photo)
