The main objective is to give to the students a global vision of programming tools and computational packages to study problems related with Physics, Chemistry and Biochemistry, where the structure and properties of the matter at atomic and molecular level is relevant.
The students will acquire knowledge to decide which simulation techniques are the most appropriate depending on the size (scale length) of the system to be modelled and depending on the temporal period (time scale) in which the process occurs.
