Nuria Pumar Beltrán is associate professor of Labour Law at the Department of Commercial Law, Labour and Social Security of the University of Barcelona (UB). She is PHD for the Pompeu Fabra University (1999) with European law mention. She currently chairs the Equality Committee of the Law’s faculty at the UB and is UB representative of the working group on gender in the League of European Research Universities (LERU). She is member of COPOLIS research group and her main research interests concern the issue of equality and positive action on labor law and social protection law as well as employment policies in the European Union and Spain.
