The research project "Maternal Surrogacy. Parental transformations in Spain on the 21st Century" (Ref. CSO2014- 55556-P, I + D + i 2014-17, Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness) includes the design of the first survey for families through surrogacy in Spain and the implementation of a pilot test.. The goal is to know the profile of these families, the legal and social difficulties encountered, their reproductive trajectories, as well as the social impact of such changes.
