Research interests:

1.- Micropaleontology & Paleogene Biostratigraphy: Studies on systematics, morphostructure, paleobiology and biostratigraphy of larger foraminifera, Upper Cretaceous-Paleogene, Tethys and Caribbean region.

 

2.- Plio-Pleistocene continental chronostratigraphy & paleontology: Vertebrate paleontology, stratigraphy, sedimentology and chronostratigraphy of the Iberian continenal Neogene. Co-direction of the excavations in the Pleistocene vertebrate karstic site of Cueva Victoria (Cartagena, Murcia) since 2008.
