Degree in Geology (25/09/2002), and Ph.D. by the University of Barcelona (12/03/2010, PD Earth Sciences) with the thesis “Outcrop-based 3D facies models of deltaic systems. Examples of the Sant Llorenç del Munt fan-delta complex (Eocene, SE Ebro Basin) and Llobregat delta (Quaternary, western Mediterranean)” (dir. Dr. E. Ramos and M. López). Member of the research group in Geodynamics and basin analysis (from 2002) and the Research Institute Geomodels (UB). The main research line focuses on Reservoir analogue characterization, including Facies modelling, Geostatistics and Flow simulation. This research has mostly been developed on ancient and recent deltaic systems, although some research has also been applied to the turbidite Eocene deposits in the Ainsa Basin and to the Oligo-Miocene deposits of the Huesca fluvial fan (Ebro Basin). She has participated on 11 national and international research projects, and she has done research stays in the Centre for Integrated Petroleum Research, at the University of Bergen.
