Mas Blesa, Albert

I did my PhD thesis in Mathematics (2007-2011) directed by Mark Melnikov and Xavier Tolsa at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I held postdoc positions at the Universidad del País Vasco (2011-2013) supervised by Luis Vega, at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2013-2014) and at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2014-2017) in the research group of Xavier Cabré. I am a Lecturer at the Universitat de Barcelona since 2017. My research is focused on partial differential equations, harmonic analysis, mathematical physics and geometric measure theory. I am particularly interested in the interplay between geometry and analysis in the study of PDEs. My contributions revolve around Calderón-Zygmund theory and uniform rectifiability, singular perturbations of Dirac and Schrödinger operators in quantum physics, nonlocal dispersive equations, isoperimetric inequalities and related topics.
