Research Lines:

    Molecular bases of cel.lular proliferation and apoptosis. As a model we use B-chronic Lymphocytic leukemia cells type B( B-CLL)  We are studying: 
    • Transduction signals involved in B-CLL cells differentiation and apoptosis
    • The effect of several drugs on proliferation and apoptosis with cellular models.Special attention to aspirin, other NSAID and quimiotherapeutic drugs. 
    • Molecular mechanisms of apoptosis induction in several cellular models: B-CLL cells , líneas celulares derivadas de LLC-B , Jurkart T cells, colon cancer cells (HT-29).
    • Transcriptional control during apoptosis induced by several stimulus.
