Molecular visualizations; supporting the study of structure/function relationship in macromolecules :

In order to view these simulations below, you have to install the rasmol program in your computer. Make a new folder and transfer to it all files contained in the zip, except the one stranting by ch. The zip also contains the chime program, a plugin that allows you to interactively visualize molecular structures on the web using navigators. The chime program is an autoexec file, just click it to install it. These versions of rasmol and chime are for windows 95/98 .

Visualizations: run the rasmol program, open both windows ( screen and command line) and type the name of the script below.

• The structure of nucleic acids, it starts with the script dna3.top
• Antibody structure, it starts with the script antibod2.top
• Homoglobin structure, it starts with the script hemoglob.top
