The objective of this Master is the specialization in the scientific knowledge and, at the same time, in the professional processing of immigration, within the framework, mainly, of Catalunya, Spain and the European Union.
Its purpose is, therefore, to prepare competent professionals in the multiple areas related to the mentioned social reality, more and more presents/displays the European societies.
It is an initiative developed from the Observatory of Intercultural Ethics of the Scientific Park of Barcelona, linked to the University of Barcelona.

In the design of the contents of this Master/Postdegree has been looked for a balance between the specific preparation in the phenomenon of Immigration and the attention around the Interculturality in general, so that the migratory fact is included/understood from ample coordinates and with practical sense. In relation to this, a training program is facilitated that combines the approach theoretical-scientist of the matters and its practical-professionals aspects. The titleholders must be prepared in this dimension, but also it is indispensable that they have a global and critical vision of the facts and problems that will be to treat.
In synthesis, It is offered a degree that combines science, professionalism and capacity to front, in a responsible way, to the numerous challenges presented today by the migratory phenomenon and the contact between cultures.
