Facilities and services

The Faculty of Law has three computer rooms (A: 27 computers, B: 18 computers, and C: 17 computers) located in the Ilerdense Building (first floor, right staircase). Computer rooms are open from 9am to 9pm.

Special opening hours apply during the Christmas and Easter periods and during the summer holidays.

Each computer room has a monitor who can provide information on rules and regulations and how to use the facilities.

Courses and activities

The IT Committee organizes a range of activities, including annual courses for students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Law.

Courses for students are legally recognized as university extension qualifications and are specifically designed for students enrolled on programs offered by the Faculty of Law. Further information can be obtained from the computer room monitors (tel. 934 024 349).

The course Computer Tools for Law has a total study load of 60 class hours and is divided into specific teaching blocks (management programs, professional software suites, Internet tools, websites for legal information, and introduction to website creation). Students will learn to use a range of specific tools required for legal practice and related professional activities. Admission is limited to the number of available workstations. Students must attend all sessions and will be assessed on the course content. Those students who successfully complete the course may request recognition of free-elective credits for the llicenciatura degree in Law.

Services offered: black-and-white and colour laser prints and copies; bindings - spiral, Channel, natural and synthetic textiles (Guaflex, Geltex, leather, etc); digitization of paper documents (copies to CD, etc); receipt and processing of printing jobs send by email.
