Purpose
To manage your donation and information regarding the acknowledgement plaque, verify your academic data in the UB archive, as well as indicate on the “Alumni FEE” website your name, last names, the studies that you received and the year when you graduated.

If you provide your consent by ticking the corresponding box, your data will also be processed to send you news and information about postgraduate programmes and activities of the UB’s Faculty of Economics and Business.

Lawful basis
The legitimate basis for processing data in order to send you information is your express, prior and informed consent, which you may choose to revoke at any time.

Period of storage
Your data will be stored for the time required to meet the purpose for which they were collected and to determine the possible obligations deriving from it.

Recipients
The recipients of your data are the University and the following data processors acting under the terms of the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement:

• Salesforce.com, Inc.
• The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp

In relation to the plaques located in the Faculty of Economics and Business of UB, anyone who accesses the Faculty will be able to see them.

Regarding the publication of donors on the website “Alumni FEE”, anyone who accesses the web will be able to see them.

Your data will not be transferred to third parties, unless under legal obligation.

Individual Rights
To access your data, to request the rectification or erasure of your data, to request the restriction or data portability, or to object to the processing of your data, write to the General Secretary’s Office at the postal address Secretaria General de la Universitat de Barcelona, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 585, 08007 Barcelona or at the email address secretaria.general@ub.edu attaching a copy of your DNI or any other appropriate identity document.

Data protection officer
If you feel that your rights have not been given appropriate consideration you may contact the UB’s Data Protection Officer by postal mail (Travessera de les Corts, 131-159, Pavelló Rosa, 08028 Barcelona) or by email (protecciodedades@ub.edu).

Control authority
You may also lodge a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority.
