The Conference Dinner (31th of August 2016)

The conference dinner will take place on Wednesday 31th of August in Can Cortada, an old Catalan cottage (Masia) from the XVI century and protected historical heritage of Barcelona. The emblematic restaurant opened its doors in 1994 and since then it offers a catalan cuisine specialized in top-quality meals of our land. The decoration has been respectful and harmonie with the building and its history, we still can find, inside the house a defense tower.

The social dinner can be booked as an option on the same page as the registration. If you plan to go to the conference dinner, you better register for the Conference chooing the Conference+dinner option, given that there is a limited capacity.

The Illusion's Night (30th of August; starting about 7 p.m)

A traditional ECVP event, it consists of a variety of installations that challenge our ideas of how we perceive reality.  

The event will take place on the 30th of August in the nearby Universitat Pompeu Fabra communication campus, which is near the main ECVP conference centre building. It will start about 7 p.m. 

• All installations (“illusions”) must have an author, who must be registered for ECVP2016.
• To enter the call, authors should submit a pdf file to the address ecvp2016@ub.edu with a short description of the installation and a justification of why they think the work is appropriate for ECVP2016’s Illusions Night. 
• The file must also include a suitable title, other contributors, affiliations and funding acknowledgements. If possible pictures or diagrams with clear indications of the physical dimensions and requirements of the work should be included in the pdf.
