Dr. Josep Monserrat Molas, Research Head of the group Hermenèutica i Platonisme. Aggregate Professor of Philosophy of the Department of Theoretical and Practical Philosophy, Universitat de Barcelona. He is co-editor of Anuari de la Societat Catalana de Filosofia, where he coordinates the Butlletí Platònic. He has published El polític de Plató. La gràcia de la mesura (Barcelona 1999), Strauss y Spinoza (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha 2001), Estranys, Setciències i Pentatletes. Cinc Estudis de Filosofia Política Clàssica (Barcelonesa d'Edicions, 2007), and has edited Hermenèutica i platonisme (Barcelona 2002), Idees d’Autoritat (Barcelona 2002), Pensament i Filosofia a Catalunya (three volumes, with Pompeu Casanovas, Societat Catalana de Filosofia, 2002-2004), with Antonio Lastra, Herencias Straussianas (Universitat de València, 2004), with Xavier Ibáñez Puig, Stanley Rosen, Filosofia fundadora. Estudis per a una metafísica del Present (Barcelonesa d'Edicions, 2007) and with Antoni Bosch-Veciana, Philosophy and Dialogue Vol. I Studies on Platonic Dialogues (2007).

Dr. Jordi R. Sales Coderch, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Practical Philosophy, Universitat de Barcelona, has been President of the Catalan Philosophy Society and co-editor of the Society’s Anuari. He has published Coneixement i situació (Barcelona, PPU, 1990), Introducció a la lectura de Leo Strauss (Barcelona, Barcelonesa d’Edicions, 1991, with Josep Monserrat), Estudis sobre l’ensenyament platònic (I): Figures i Desplaçaments (Barcelona, Anthropos, 1992), (II) A la flama del vi. El Convit platònic, filosofia de la transmissió (Barcelona, Barcelonesa d’Edicions 1996). Sales i Coderch has published numerous articles on Platonic philosophy, seventeenth-century philosophy and on Kant and Phenomenology.
Dr. Xavier Ibáñez Puig, Associate Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Practical Philosophy, Universitat de Barcelona. He is also Professor of Philosophy and Assistant Director at Barcelona’s School of Sant Gregori, and he was in the apst Secretary of the Catalan Philosophy Society (the Institute for Catalan Studies) and President of the Carles Cardó Centre of Studies in Barcelona. Ibáñez Puig is the author of a Catalan translation of Stanley Rosen’s Hermeneutics as Politics (Barcelona, Barcelonesa d’Edicions, 1992) and has published numerous articles in books of collected essays and specialist journals. He has published El Teetet de Plató: Saviesa i prudència en el tribunal del saber (Barcelona 2007).
Dr. Antoni Bosch Veciana, Professor of Philosophy at the Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, President of the Section of Ancient Philosophy at the Catalan Philosophy Society, and member of the International Plato Society and of the Centre of Studies for Ancient Thought«Kairos kai Logos» at the University of Provence. Doctor in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona, Bosch-Veciana’s thesis was entitled Amistat i unitat en el Lisis platònic. El Lisis com a narració d’una synoysia dialogal socràtica (Barcelona 2003). He has co-edited Breu història de la filosofia (Barcelona, 1987 and 19952) and has contributed in the preparation of different works on Ancient Philosophy, as well as having written numerous articles on the works of Plato and on Platonism.
Dr. Gregorio Luri Medrano Doctor in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona, Professor of Deontological Ethics, and Professional at the Higher School of Design in Sabadell. Amongst other works, he has published El proceso de Sócrates (Trotta, 1998), Prometeos. Biografías de un mito (Madrid, Trotta, 2002), and Guía para no entender a Sócrates (Madrid, Trotta, 2004).
Dr. Antonio Alegre Gorri, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Professor of the Department of History of Philosophy at the Universitat de Barcelona.
Dr. Carles Llinàs Puente, Vice Dean of the Ecclessiastic Faculty of Philosophy of Catalunya at the Universitat Ramon Llull.

Fellows and Doctoral Candidates

Armand Adroher Salvia Doctoral Candidate. With a Masters' Thesis dedicated to the thought of Stanley Rosen. He is also Professor of Philosophy at Barcelona’s School of Sant Gregori, and member of the Catalan Society of Philosophy.
Marta Lorente Research Fellow of the group Hermenèutica i Platonisme, is working on a Masters's Thesis dedicated to study the scenic places of the platonic dialogues.
Àngel Pascual Martín Doctoral Candidate and Reserach Fellow of the group Hermenèutica i Platonisme. With a a Masters' Thesis dedicated to the thought of Leo Strauss, he is working on an interpretation of Plato's Protagoras.
Bernat Torres Morales Doctoral Candidate and Reserach Fellow of the group Hermenèutica i Platonisme. With a a Masters' Thesis dedicated to the thought of Eric Voegelin, he is working on an interpretation of Plato's Philebus.
