According to the election calendar, the electoral roll (on which those intending to vote must be registered) will be published on 19 September. Candidates will be nominated by the Electoral Board on 17 October and the election campaign will run from 21 October to 12 midnight on the 4th November

Over 60,000 members of the university community are eligible to vote. They are divided into four groups with different weightings: tenured lecturers (51%), other teaching and research staff (9%), undergraduate and doctoral students (30%), and administrative and services staff (10%).
