Call for papers
The Organizing Committee invites the submission of abstracts of papers for consideration and possible presentation at the XII Congressus Internationalis Epigraphiae Graecae et Latinae. The deadline for receipt of abstracts is 31 December 2001. Abstracts sent after this date will not be accepted.Call for posters
The deadline for posters is also 31 December 2001. Posters will be on display throughout the Congress.Specifications
The abstracts should be written in one of the Congress' official languages and should follow this structure:a) Objective
An introduction indicating the objective of the study
b) Methodology<
A description of the procedure and theme of the study; a statistical evaluation may be included
c) Results
d) ConclusionFormat
Abstracts should be posted from this web page, or saved on a 3.5'' diskette (format: PC, Microsoft Word 5.0 or later, font Times New Roman 10 pts). Abstracts should include the title of the paper, names of all authors (please indicate the name of the main author in bold, and underline the name of the author who will make the presentation), institution, city and country of all authors. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words. Graphics and maps should be included.Specifications for written papers and posters
Abstracts of papers will be included under the heading of the lecture or workshop specified by the author, except in the case of a poster. If the author does not specify a lecture or workshop, the Committee will assign it ad hoc, on the basis of its subject matter. The maximum size for posters is 0.90 x 1.50 m.Checklist
Before submitting your abstract, make sure that:· All authors are listed
· Address, phone and fax numbers or electronic addresses are included
· Institution, department, city and country are included
· The abstract is no longer than 300 words and complies with the guidelines
· You have specified a lecture or workshop for your abstract
· The technical equipment needed for the presentation has been specified
Deadline
The deadline for abstracts has been extended until 31 December 2001.Notification of acceptance
