E-mail and Internet Access
During the dates of the coongress, participants will have free acces to e-mail and Internet at the Aula d'Informàtica (0 Floor, Yard of Sciences)

Safety
As in all big cities, in Barcelona it is advisable to follow some basic rules of prudence.

At your hotel or holiday flat:
Be sure not to leave money in sight when you go out
Never leave valuables lying around
Make use of the safe
Always lock the door after you

On the street:
Take care of your handbag or wallet in crowded places
When going to the beach, take only what is strictly necessary
Protect your video or camera at places of entertainment
Steer clear of easy business propositions. They could be a swindle
Never leave any objects of value inside any vehicle
Should you be victim of any crime, report it immediately.

Health
If you have any problem of health, you can call 112, the European telephone for emergencies. Also, you can call the hospital closest to the conference, the Clínic Barcelona. Hospital Universitari at 93 227 5400.

Taxis
Taxis use a taximeter and you only have to pay the amount it shows. Please ask for your receipt.
