OBJECTIVES OF
THE PROGRAM
1.-
INTERDISCIPLINARY
This
would be a first objective, not based on an interdisciplinary theoretical
discourse, but in a practice resulting from the diversity of prior training
with the intention to discuss the variousviewpoints that exist on public
space, public art, urban design, urban regeneration practices, etc.. at
the same while comparing the variety of methodological approaches.
2.-
CRITICISMS
Obviously,
this feature of the course can not be separated from a latent objective
is the elaboration of a discourse critical of public space as a social
and historical phenomenon and as a site of a series of events, from art
to Urban Solid Waste campaign, up practices, often with a symbolic, fundamental
to unleashing the processes of social identity, the foundation of sustainable
policies.
3.-
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1)
Provide information tools of the different aspects that affect the construction
of public space, from the viewpoint the territory, society, art and the
environment.
2)
To develop students' critical capacity regarding the possible choices of
"Intervention", this is artistic or social, public space.
3)
analyze the possibility of development of processes active participation
by citizens and their regarding the issue of governance.
4)
Building, especially through international symposia and workshops, a confrontation
between the models, practical realities that occur in other environments. |
