The master's degree is divided into two blocks, comprising compulsory subjects and optional subjects. The five compulsory subjects are the final project, which has a study load of 10 credits, and four 5-credit subjects, giving a total load of 30 credits. The 5-credit subjects are taught during the first semester, and the completed final project must be submitted in June (or, in exceptional cases, in September).
Students must choose six optional subjects to make up the remaining 30 credits to complete the masters degree. This choice can be used to give the course a more theoretical or practical orientation. The optional subjects include a professional placement, which gives students the chance to experience working life and to learn directly from companies in the sector.
