Water is essential to life and of major importance to the balanced development of our society. An increasing number of factors are involved in water management, and water research is now being approached from many areas of knowledge.

The University of Barcelona, through its university master’s degree in Water. Interdisciplinary Analysis and Sustainable Management offers comprehensive, cross-disciplinary and integrated training in the study of water from two perspectives: preparation for professional practice, and introduction to research.

Given its interdisciplinary nature, the master’s degree is designed for all graduates with an interest in the area, and that have sufficient basic training and the desire to develop an overall understanding, as well as specific knowledge, of water.
