This master’s degree aims to meet the educational needs of students interested in the theoretical and practical aspects of managing non-university educational institutions. The program draws on the experience of the 24 previous editions of the degree, which was configured as a UB-specific master's degree. The new course places specific emphasis on the development of professional skills.

The syllabus is centred on content related to the roles and functions of directors, assistant directors, directors of studies and academic secretaries as well as heads of department and academic coordinators.

The teaching staff will comprise lecturers from several UB departments, primarily the Department of Teaching and Learning and Educational Organization, and from other universities in Catalonia. Tuition will also be provided by external experts, including directors and managers of public and private educational institutions, and educational inspection consultants and professionals, who will contribute to making the program more relevant and practical in terms the real-life application of the topics studied.
