"Technology enhanced public spaces for intergenerational learning "
The University of Barcelona and CosmoCaixa hosted the first co-design workshop of the project La PIAZZA
The workshop aims to elicit participants views on intergenerational learning in order to inspire the generation of new perspectives in terms of artefacts, spaces, activities, people and roles.
The joint endeavour seek to envision new ways for ecologically integrating technologies and spaces for nourishing and supporting intergenerational learning activities.
The activities of the workshop will be cooperative and will be structured in two parts.
- In the first phase the activity will focus on the construction of a shared view on intergenerational learning in order to set the main issues to be further considered. Each partner will contribute (informally) with his/her point of view concerning intergenerational learning experiences. After that some keywords describing the experiences will be identified.
The outcomes will be jointly clustered and selected in order to foster the second phase of the workshop
- In the second phase the participants will explore the issues selected through a design activity called attribute listing
The ideas produced will be jointly discussed, evaluated and compared with relation to the characteristics and the requirements of each setting (Mamac, Cosmocaxia, Explore@bristol, Viborg Computer Clubhouse) |
